Before you apply

  1. Before completing this form make sure that you have read our moving and building guide to understand what you need to do, in some cases it may be nothing!
  2. Allow five business days from time of notification for "Temporary disconnection" requests.
    All requested services have charges; work outside of normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, might have additional charges. You must submit all electrical modifications/alterations and planned electrical repairs by means of a Notice of Intention Form.

Life support customers

If you or someone at your home uses life support equipment, it's important that you let us or your electricity retailer know and keep us up to date with your situation.

All customers wanting to temporarily disconnect their power services

Do not need to use this form if you are an urban customer moving home

Do not use this form if you are located in Alyangula and Nhulunbuy (contact your local council)

Do not use this form if you are located in Jabiru

Please note if you are connecting power there will be a $68.56 establishment fee charged to your account.
