Customers planning to install a micro-embedded generation system (PV or battery energy storage system) must ensure they have a generation system compliant meter.

This list will assist customers in determining if their current meter is compliant, or if they need either a new meter or a meter reprogram for their meter to become compliant.

A generation system compliant meter needs to be bi-directional and capture both generated and consumed quantities from the grid.

Reprogrammable meters

The following meters are available to be reprogrammed if the customer is applying for a solar PV or battery energy storage system connection.
