Aboriginal employment
We have a plan and vision to improve Aboriginal employment and career development opportunities.
We want to develop a dynamic and inclusive workforce which represents our community.
Our Aboriginal Employment and Career Development Strategy 2021-2025 outlines what we will do to increase Aboriginal participation in our workforce over a five-year period.
As a first step, we support the Northern Territory Government's Special Measures Plan . The plan aims to increase Aboriginal employee representation at Power and Water and to recruit, support and retain Aboriginal employees.
We will also continue to invest in regional jobs and training programs, so we see a diverse workforce in our most remote areas.

Remote Essential Services Operators
Essential Services Operators keep power, water and sewerage services running in some of the Territory's most remote areas.
Current vacancies
We employ hundreds of Territorians in technical, professional, and customer service roles, and there are regular opportunities to join the Power and Water team.
